I've just found, I guess, the same topic here in the German forum:
http://www.ghisler.ch/board/viewtopic.php?t=6256&highlight=x64++64bit
Unfortunately, with my null knowledge of German and poor clarity of the translation made by according software, didn't allow me to understand the discussion outcome out there. So can somebody tell me is there going the subj to be released shortly?
I don't really consider that such a kind of software as file manager is, can gain much performance boost by rebuilding it in 64-bit code, but there's a number of inconveniences caused by WOW64 compatibility features, such as emulation of registry and filesystem structure of Win32 for 32-bit apps running on 64-bit OS; also, the less we have to run 32-bit apps on Win64, the smaller performance reduction for the system would be, so I guess (considering my limited knowledge in programming).
Also, it would be nice to have a port of TC for Itanium platform...
