File delete problem with 1.5 GB *.ts file, TC froze for a long time

While deleting a '.ts' file, it froze for a long time.
it has about 1.5 GB.

TC version and bitness
Also some info about hardware, CPU, RAM.
Location of .ts file: hard drive, ssd, flash drive, network, other?
If local drive, it is health, checked for errors?
File system of this drive: FAT, FAT32, NTFS, exFAT, other?
Also location in filesystem, especially path lenght.
.TS means "Transport Stream" video?
So origin of this file: recorded, edited, downloaded? Used hardware or software?
This occurs only for this particular file?
What about other files? What about smaller or bigger files?
TC delete method settings - Configuration - Options... - Copy/Delete page?
Used routine for delete - keyboard "Delete", "Shift+Delete", mouse context menu?
Antivirus software and settings?

It could either be a virus scanner problem, or the file could be fragmented a lot if located on a hard drive or on a network share.
