[TC 11.01rc3 32-bit] AV error cancelling getting FTP list while traffic is blocked by firewall

Post by *white »

I connected to an ftp server using TC 64-bit and browsed to a folder and tried to download some files I downloaded before to test the overwrite dialog. Then I switched to 32-bit TC using cm_exit 2. I opened the ftp connection again and then selected the folder I was before in the history list. Windows firewall popped up asking me for conformation to allow traffic. I pressed Enter to confirm, but apparently the TC window was active and the access violation appeared. I assume TC was still trying to get the file list and pressing Enter cancelled it.

Well, then you know that you have to fiddle around with the settings. But that's it then...

I will check the log for any useful information.
Are you able to reproduce the error, or was it one time only?

It's consistent.

When traffic is blocked by Windows Firewall and a connection is made to an ftp server and a small TC windows is displayed with the command LIST to get the list:
* TC 64-bit works OK. It doesn't give an AV error and all key presses and clicks seem to be handled OK.
* TC 32-bit doesn't work OK. Pressing Esc or Space or clicking the Cancel button does nothing. Pressing C or Enter or clicking the close button (cross) gives an AV error.

This should be fixed in Total Commander 11.01 final! The error was happening whenever the user tried to abort the reading of a directory with C or Enter.
