| While testing I found an error. Unpacking is performed without paths in some cases. I'll try to fix the bug as soon as possible. |

Glad to hear you already released it!
I do always support opensource formats. And this seems to be a great packer, by the way.
Let's wait for the fixed version.
Good work, Lefteous!! _________________ 0penware.com - A blog of software, devices and ideas. |

You catch me, Clo! Good memory!
And if you realized, I haven't made any pressure over Lefteous about the plugin since the time he said he was working on it...
Ok, ok, I must confess sometimes I've got the temptation to bump that other thread... _________________ 0penware.com - A blog of software, devices and ideas. |

The crystal ball says you are working on Windows 9x.
Unpacking this archive on Windows 9x doesn't seems to work. Several Windows 9x users reported this problem to me. |

Yes, error occurs on WIN98, on WINXP i've not tested plugin yet.
I thought plugin works the same way on every 32-bit Windows
|
Yes it should work the same way but underlying system functions behave different sometimes.

Really strange. It works fine for me. The MD5 is
2f19ca8ddda33dcc224aa31fa56f5dad *totalsqx_1.0_translation.template.sqx
2both of you
Is it possible to pack files using sqx and unpack sqx archives or is it just this archive? |

A very professional plugin Lefteous!
Now that I've tested it I realized it has all the features a commercial packer/unpacker has! The configuration dialog is simply incredible!!
Apart from that, I have a simple question. The "Create solid archive" option is checked by default. If I'm not mistaken, if you want to extract a simple file from the end of an sqx file created with this option, the entire file must be scanned from start to end.
Perhaps it should be inactive by default. But don't worry, I know the plugin remembers the settings, so I can uncheck that. And I'm sure you have a good reason to have it checked by default (probably better compression).
Anyway, great work and great plugin!! _________________ 0penware.com - A blog of software, devices and ideas. |

Thank you very much!

You are right it's checked by default because of the higher compression ratio. The (dis)advantages of solid archives are described in the documentation.
What do other users think? Should this option be disabled by default? |
