[REQ] remember view settings

Post by *majkinetor »

I searched the forum and I didn't find anything about this topic, but this was possible already requested by some, since I can not imagine it is not. So, I am sorry if I am reinventing the weel

What about remembering view settings (custom columns, view mode...) or, better, saying explicitely which folder should keep it (for instance one small checkbox beside directory hot list button * ).

For instance, I could use mp3 info plugins in my Albums folder all the time, or use Thumbnail view always in my wallpapers folder. I could check the box if I want to use current view mode always with current folder, or uncheck to return to the default view next time I enter that folder.

I will not discuss implementation details until I hear your opinions.

I must admit that I still don't think in 'AutoHotKey' termes since I just recently discovered the program via this forum.
Thank you very much for droping me that script because I am certanly going to use it if there is no intention of the author to implement this feature like I can see in the post Gral pointed.

I also doesn't understand authors desire not to do so, because it is very simple to implement and you don't heave to use it if you don't want to.
