Open TC, choose any text file to view in lister as text - Options-> 1.
Enter "*** " as a search string (without quotes, also note empty space).
Now close TC and reopen it again.
Open the same file in lister and press F7, choose last remembered search entry and tailing space is gone...
It should not.

You don't have to reopen lister.
Just select the search therm again from the combo.
I would not consider it to be a bug.
Use regular expressions form to keep trailing spaces. The bad thing is that reg exp flag is not saved with expression. This should definitely be corrected.

But then again, I disagree..I would not consider it to be a bug.
If the list is implemented, it should work properly. I think this is a limitation of ini files, but what prevents Ghisler to save this strings with qutes??
E.g. "*** ".
And if you write regexp with tailing space? It is still lost?
Here the problem can be easily corrected e.g. [ ] or whatever, but with enclosing strings in quotes and saving them like that in ini file is quick and nice fix that WILL work.

I guess you have a trouble with identity You'r always changing your avatar
