Synplus by default

Post by *Stenik »

Hi,

I'd like to know if there is a way to set SynPlus as the default text files viewer in quick view.

For exemple, when i'm viewing a .rc file or a .htaccess file it uses the default text viewer which not allows me to edit in the quick view panel. I would like to use SynPlus by default for text files, even those with not a common text extension.

How can i make it ? Or at least make it editable in the quick view panel.

Thanks very much for your help.

Anybody correct me if I'm wrong, but AFAIK SynPlus only opens files you've specified a highlighter for. To do that, right click In synplus window->edit highlight scheme->choose desired highligter (e.g. 'text files') on the left and add your extension in the appropriate field in the scheme properties.

Note: TC uses the very first plugin which can handle the current extension.
... so make sure, that the SynPlus entry is the first in your [ListerPlugins] section of wincmd.ini.
You can edit it manually or use the "Options ...| Plugins" dialog to shift it up to the first position.
