Saved per directory sorting. Does it exist?

Post by *jzekeb »

I would like to specify which sort should be default on a per directory basis.

For example, I usually have sort done by name, but for my downloads directory, I would like it to switch automatically to time.

Is there any way to do this?

:) Hello !

- With the normal built-in features, I don't know means to perform that automatically… :|

- But you could install a button in the bar with the command 2012.

- Then, you can toogle quickly to sorting "By names" or "Like the files"…

- Hum… Maybe <icfu>-friend has some "miraculous" script in his wonder-bag ?

 Kind regards,
Claude

Maybe this: AutoHotkey: Automatic directory-specific configuration / actions AutoHotkey Script may be useful for you.
