Windows XP 64

Post by *SmellyCat »

Will there be a Total Commander that is 64-bit?

And is the current Total Commander 32-bit compatible with Windows XP-64?

In general: the 64-bit TC version is not planned, 'cause it will not gain any improvements, but will make TC incompatible with all current plugins (64-bit applications need 64-bit DLLs).
TC is almost compatible with Win x64. The only problem is that as 32-bit application TC cannot view some Windows folders: Windows substitutes them with other folders designed specifically for 32-bit applications.
