Wishlist - expand one window

Post by *chrisclark »

Hello

TC is wonderful ... thank you

A suggestion (and an apology if this feature is there and I've missed it)

When doing a search in TC (Alt+F7) and "feed to list box" is chosen, could there be an option to quickly move the border between columns so that the other column (without the list) disappears (I know this can be done manually)

AND could we then be able to switch back to normal view quickly

Related suggestion

Could we go back to the search quickly (eg could the search be saved by default)

thanks

Unfortunately ther is currently no such function.

As workaround it may help to use vertical panels. Accessable with [alt]+sho[w] then [V]ertical Arrangement.

You could also create a hotkey for this with Configuration->Options->Misc.: Redefine (keyboard remapping).

The command is "cm_VerticalPanels" in Section [View]
BTW to set the window back to 50% there is another command: cm_50percent likewise in [View].

Or maybe you want to use the Autohotkey script that allows you to popup the contextmenu for the splitter with CTRL+G and lets you select a division of the window between 20/80 and 80/20 in 10% degrees.
