That would be nice too! How exactly did you try to access the share?

What do you mean? I think it was over a shortcut (double click in the location bar)

Yes, there are many ways to access a share, e.g. Ctrl+D menu, or going via Network neighborhood, or a Windows LNK file, etc. etc.
