Transfer Drive selection combo functionality to tabs

Post by *wanderer »

The "always show drive letter in tab title" is a nice feature which has given me an idea. What if instead of having a plain letter, there was a normally expandable combo box in it, just without the "down arrow button" part? That way, there might be no need to have the "drive combobox" or "drive buttons" bars and would save some vertical space. Perhaps this would allow a more functional "vertical arrangement" environment.

x64: Clients/Servers from Win7 to Win11 and Win2K12Srv to Win2K22Srv, mainly Win10 though.

To my knowledge, you cannot place any controls on the tab headers, sorry.

:?: I guess it's control and language dependent. In VB6, it can be done.

Pity.

Yup, i know. It is certainly control-related. VB6's SSTab (i think it was a Sheridan control) has that ability.
