[Oldwish] Improve Md5 & Sfv verify system

Post by *sas2000 »

When you verify a Md5 or Sfv file (with more than 1000 entries) with Tc 7, it's almost impossible to find which files are wrong because Tc don't let you sort them by Crc status (Ok/Bad), thanks.

It would be nice.

BTW, I'm writing a content plugin related to crc32, maybe I'll add support for *.SFV if needed (actually it working with tagged filenames, as example MyFile_[A0B1FF3E].bin).

IMHO the problem is that with Tc sometimes it's impossible to find which files are wrong, but by the other hand it's the only way i know to verify several Md5 & Sfv files (one after another).

There are great Sfv&Md5 verifiers as "QuickSfv" but it's impossible to verify several Md5 files with it.

I promise nothing, but I'll try to make the content plugin supporting md5 and sfv lists. (edit : even if I'll prefer to see it supported internally by tc7)

Here you have the link for the plugin, at this time it only can read sfv files (it can't modify or create new .sfv, tc doing it already well) : http://www.totalcmd.net/plugring/crc32tag.html
