Item From Control Panel

Post by *bsaksida1 »

It woud be good if there were "Add Or Remove Programs" from control panel to Icon bar.

Or A Menu with all Items from Control Panel.

I Know that file appwiz.cpl is a file for control panel and is "Add Or Remove Programs" and I can hold Shift and then drag it to a bar. But it woud be a good option to have there by default.

Try my menu at http://www.totalcmd.net/plugring/TcMenu_en_7.html it has a full menu with the control panel items in it. Also a button bar with control panel items is available in the same package.

This is where I thought my menu could help you.

Then just cut an paste the "Windows XP" menu item from my menu to your own menu.

But you have to translate the names of the programs yourself.

At least I have done all the work of finding the commands for all the control panel items (not always easy to track down).

Or use the WCMD_ENG2.BAR button bar from the package - I am sure you can recognize the icons from control panel without translation.

You can use the internal command 'cm_OpenControls' to open the whole control panel in TC's file list. Just create a button for it on the buttonbar or insert an entry in you menu file for it.
