Separate Tree - choice of views

Post by *malungu »

Hi,

It would be nice to have an option to choose only one Separate Tree view when using Ctrl+Shift+F8. I can do without option 2 (two trees, one per window), but I would just like to toggle between "no separate tree" and "one separate tree" using Ctrl+Shift+F8. Now I have to hit these keys twice to go from one tree to none.

Anyway, TC7 is VERY nice. Thank you, Christian. :)

Make a button or shortcut with cm_ToggleSeparateTree1

You can also redefine Ctrl+Shift+F8, in Configuration - Options - Misc. Try it, it's really much easier with the new command selection dialog.

I also use cm_ToggleSeparateTree1 but what I don't like is when I toggle off tree panel my "splitter" percentage is different.

50% 50% tree panel off (default when I start TC)
20% 30% 50% toggle tree panel on
30% 70 % toggle tree panel off

I will expect to be back at 50% 50% (is there a setting for that?)

I looked for similar suggestion in search but haven't found anything.

Thanks for suggestions

Hm, here the splitter is reset correctly to 50/50. Do you have perhaps Quickview/comments view open when you deactivate the tree panel? Maybe you have saved a differing splitter position for Quickview or comments view...
