It woud be better if wincmd.ini is in total commander instalation folder. When is in c:\Windows, I always get an error, because i don't have access. I Am using Windows Vista, And i hate tu use run as administrator to able use wincmd.ini

Hi.
Then use Inireloc.
Tool to set the locations of the settings files wincmd.ini and wcx_ftp.ini. This works only with the 32-bit version of Commander 4.53 and later.
to change the folder.

Or look in the help (F1) for "UseIniInProgramDir".

The search would also help you.

And when you run the Total Commander installer you'll be asked where to put the ini file.
