Original Subject was: Width of Copy-window
Been a user (licensed) of Total Commander (and Windows Commander before) for MANY years - still the best file handling tool I know of... Thanks.
As I'm recovering data from a broken disk - only available on and off - I'm using the copy command (F5). I would like the option to change the width of the copy window, so the full From/To paths are visible. It would help me to localize the actual files, when having a read error.

How to adjust 'Width of Copy-window' to see the full From/To paths?

Re: Width of Copy-window
Hi and welcome!
You may want to enable the LOG feature:
Configuration menu > Options... > Log file
Now you can inspect that text file 'in peace' afterwards.
I could imagine that only successfully operation are written to the log,
but on the last written entry you may know that the next file in that folder get you a read error?
HTH?
Please report back if this work for your case.

Re: Width of Copy-window
Thanks for the hint. It was a rather huge copy process, and it was already started. The Log isn't enabled by default, so it didn't help me this time. But I got around it - and from now on the log is enabled on my computer.
Still I think it would be a small change to enable resizing of the copy window so the full paths can be visible. Just a suggestion of course - I'm happy with the program anyway...
Thanks again...
