First of all, thank you very much for creating and maintaining this product. It helps me raise my productivity greatly!
I like working with the "Open files and directories with a single click" option enabled. However, this is always confusing for my co workers when they work with me on my computer.
Would it be possible to change the mouse cursor to a hand pointer whenever a single mouse click would open a file or a folder to indicate this? Windows Explorer does this in a similar way and I like this solution. (Windows Explorer also underlines the item hovered by the pointer but I wouldn't necessarily go that far.) That way, the mouse pointer would clearly show the user that a single click will already invoke an action instead of just selecting the item.
I know it's a small change and mostly just helpful for this specific case but I would be glad if you would consider implementing this!
Show hand pointer over items when "Open files and directories with a single click" is enabled

I don't use the single-click option myself, but this suggestion sounds like a very good idea. Support++

If this would be implemented, I ask to make this function configurable.
In my case I don't need such a function and would then like to turn it off again.

I guess you don't have the single-click option enabled, so it would not hurt you.
I will never understand why anyone use that single-click option
as its destroys normal behavior and leads to dangerous starts of executable files.

Re: Show hand pointer over items when "Open files and directories with a single click" is enabled
Mmh, I have
Code: Select all
SingleClickStart=1
I usually pay very close attention to what I click.
I also try to avoid a mouse arm -> RSI syndrome.
