F2 Search in found files - Field "Search for:" -> marked/unmarked

I would like to make the following proposal on this subject.

ACTUAL state:

1. Press F2 .......................... --> The content of field "Search for:" is marked,     focus in field "Search for:"
2. Click on 'F2 Search in found files' --> The content of field "Search for:" is NOT marked, focus is NOT in field "Search for:"

Wouldn't it be advantageous at point 2. if the content of the field "Search for:" would also be marked,
if you click this option with the mouse? ... The focus should then also be in the field "Search for:" (as in point 1.)

Reason:
In the case of 'F2 Search in found files', the search must not be continued with the prefix ed: or ev: anyway,
i.e. only one search term may be searched for.

The already marked field content could be overwritten by the search term.
without having to select the field contents beforehand (analogous to point 1.).
