Post by *sergiokapone »

If Dark Mode of TC now is avaliable, may be is it reasonable to introduce a feature of transparent mode of TC window? Dark transparent window looks beautiful.

Well...
I would like mr. Ghisler to make a feature, so TC appears upside down, as I am training my eyes to revers the world as quickly as possible.
Until now, I have turned my PC-monitor around, but I'm getting old, and it is so heavy.

:)
..If you actually are serious, I can recommend using an app for Windows (all versions) that can make every program and folder transparent,
e.g. 'Smart System Menu v 1.3.1' by Alexander Illanonov.
I think it is featured on the Majorgeeks homepage, so I guess it is OK to use. ..At least I hope so. :roll:

@HerbieH,

Thank you! I was feeling in the mood to send a reply like yours as well! (no disrespect @sergiokapone)

So much time spent on "Dark Mode" - in a sad way, it amuses me!

It has been requested by many people, but you don't need to use it if you don't like it. Why not try the many other new functions?

@Christian
I _do_ appreciate all the work you do to update and improve TC. I can't live without it! I'm one of those "antique" (in all respects) NC on DOS users!

Transparent Mode for Buttonbar, e.g. like transparent TaskBar of Windows, would be very nice.

Taskbar is a separate bar, and it may be done transparent, but TC buttonbar is a part of TC window, so there is no sense in making just part of TC window transparent.

Why is it for TaskBar ok, but not for TC Window?
Notice, there are also glass themes for Explorer and this looks very nice.

Just only a Suggestion ;-)

And it's much appreciated, thanks.
The attractive Dark Mode is what triggered me to buy a license for my private use (my company already had a license for my company PC).
