[9.51] Allow searching in filelists by relative path
When I have a list file in current folder and want to find files from it, TC finds nothing if I specify just @filelist.txt, only full path works.
TC should be able to locate list files by relative path. This is much easier to use and will allow to save search templates that will be valid for multiple folders with similar list files.

Have you tried to search in @.\filelist.txt?

I get a "File not found" error. Right after a TC restart it seems to work, but after any other search I get the "File not found" againHave you tried to search in @.\filelist.txt?

My results were also unstable. It looks like current folder depends on the search result.

Re: [9.51] Allow searching in filelists by relative path
The current folder depends on what you did before in Total Commander. For example, if you change directory in one panel, then tab to the other and start the search, the current directory is still the one in the inactive panel.

Re: [9.51] Allow searching in filelists by relative path
But if I use relative path just in "Search In" field, TC resolves it properly always (relative to current active panel's tab). So it is 100% logical and expected to have same behaviour for relative filelist path.
If a TC function can benefit from using active panel path, it should use it. And in this case the profit is obvious.

Re: [9.51] Allow searching in filelists by relative path
If list file path is absolute, then it resolves it relative to the absolute, instead of relative to the current panel path, which has sense. But if I use relative path just in "Search In" field, TC resolves it properly always (relative to current active panel's tab).
Re: [9.51] Allow searching in filelists by relative path
LOADLIST works with rel. paths.
Overquoting is evil! 👎
Re: [9.51] Allow searching in filelists by relative path
Well, that's good to hear, but search dialog should also handle relative paths.
Re: [9.51] Allow searching in filelists by relative path
Similarly. Standart search or autosearch with LOADLIST ==template. Most likely there operates a common search function.
