Currently if Total Commander is running as administrator, it indicates elevation by adding a caret character (^) to main window title, so it looks like "Username^ - Total Commander".
It would be nice if elevated TC would show the caret in title of other own windows, at least in places where plugins are used, because elevation sometimes affects their work (e.g. Lister doesn't use plugins if viewing some file requires elevation).
So if TC is elevated, its child window may use titles like "^ - Lister", "^ - Find Files", etc, also if such windows appear when such TC tools started as a separate elevated TC process.
The case with Lister I mentioned may happen even if TC process is not elevated: after pressing F3, when required, TC asks for elevation for Lister only, and shows file content using internal Lister functions, so plugins cannot be used (it's like that for safety/security reasons), so for this case elevetion indication in Lister is also useful because will let user know why plugins are not used.

Perhaps "Lister^" or "^ Lister" would be nicer than "^ - Lister". But the idea sounds reasonable.

Display Preference - "Lister^" over "^ Lister" or "^ - Lister"

I'd indeed prefer "^Lister", because this will usually show caret in Lister's task button in taskbar with classic Windows theme where by default the width of such button is not static and when it is getting smaller while more tasks buttons appear in taskbar, their titles are shrinking from right to left.
