A feature I've come to admire in Android is a short advisory flash/pop-up when a configuration change I've made has 'taken', has been accepted.
The pop-up lets me know that the change has been successful and is now in effect.
I've found that among the diversity of settings in Total Commander, some settings take immediately, but some have to be saved with 'Configuration', 'Save Settings' or 'Save Position' (or via an '=' icon I have on my button bar).
It would help, I feel, if some short notification could tell us that a change had been saved to the configuration files ..in some form of words.
An absence of any advice would indicate that the change was only temporary, until saved. We'd fashion our expectations accordingly.
As it is, changes that we thought were now permanent can get lost in the ether upon exit.
Any thoughts?
