[TC 9.21rc3] Drive letter in combobox disappears after pressing e.g.: 'ALT+F2, D'

Post by *pi.degroote »

When I press for instance 'ALT+F2, D', the drive letter disappears (becomes blank) in the drive combobox and reappears after I navigate through one of folders in that panel.

Confirmed for 64-bit version ONLY.

32-bit version works well.

Confirmed but only if also Enter is used.
Selecting the drive with the mouse works correct.

It could be connected to this: https://www.ghisler.ch/board/viewtopic.php?p=345788#p345788 - because it is fixed in the private TC 9.21rc3a that I have.

On the other hand - the bug I described in https://www.ghisler.ch/board/viewtopic.php?p=345764#p345764 was introduced with TC 9.0 b10 an the bug pi.degroote reports here was introduced with TC 9.21 rc1 - so maybe the fix of the bug reported by me just happens to fix this bug by luck and not by causality.

It's a known bug caused by the following fix:
18.07.18 Fixed: All combobox controls: When entering Korean text and the last entered character is incomplete, clicking on another control inserted that character at the start of the control (32/64)

It has been corrected in the non-public version rc3a.
