Filename is not passed with quotes using strg + b and vlc

Post by *Nemesis »

I have added a vlc shortcut to the menubar

Normally I open files with vlc using drag and drop from the right or left file list to the vlc icon.

I have a folder structure like this:

T:\TV Aufnahmen\Simpsons\S01\
T:\TV Aufnahmen\Simpsons\S02\
...

files in these folders have those names:
S01E04-Eine ganz normale Familie.avi
S01E05-Bart schlägt eine Schlacht.avi

If I drag and drop files on vlc from T:\TV Aufnahmen\Simpsons\S01\ it works.

If I drag and drop files from T:\TV Aufnahmen\Simpsons\ using strg + b for displaying files in sub directories it does not.
It seems that the file path is not send correctly (using quotes) to vlc because VLC trys to open "Eine", "ganz", "normale" and "Familie.avi"
