Vista: Drive hint problems

Post by *Lefteous »

TC 7 should display the volume label in drive button as tooltip. This doesn't work for me here on Vista (RC 2). Maybe it behaves different in Vista final but maybe it's a TC bug. I get no tooltip for drive C (harddisk). This drive has no volume label. The optical drives have a drive hint but it shows the drive type not the label although a media is inserted. I have not defined any drive hints manually.

Thanks, I will investigate.
It seems that Microsoft have changed the behaviour of a lot of functions in Vista, without documenting it...
