Beta 4: configure/ignore lists

Post by *JFierce7 »

Hi,
I haven't used ignore lists so far. Now I go through the configuration options jumping directly to or passing by ignore lists. I do not change anything there. Pressing ok then asks "Overwrite c:\tcmd7\" giving Yes/No/Cancel as alternatives. "c:\tcmd7" is where I put TC7, obviously. However, overwriting does not seem a great idea...
With other words - I did not change anything regarding ignore lists but TC wants to save it without having a file name.
I did not answer Yes, but No and Cancel both close the configuration window. Maybe Cancel should leave it open?
Furthermore, even if the configuration window was changed to another option frame, the very same message regarding ignore lists is asked which is a bit confusing...

Confirmed - it happens until IgnoreListFile= is set in wincmd.ini regardles of the setting of IgnoreListFileEnabled=

Workaround: make an ignore list, but diable the use of it.

I could reproduce it now. It only occurs if no ignore list existed at all.

Confirm, but in my case TC asks to "Overwrite: C:\WINNT\" (the WinDir).
My WINCMD.INI is lying there, perhaps this makes the difference?
Who the hell is General Failure, and why is he reading my disk?
