I never stated that "Search text too long!" should be displayed here.

I just pointed out, that the displayed string <Error!> looks like a missing translation - which in consequence defaults to the <Error!> placeholder.

Regards

No, using <Error!> here in the title is intentional. What else should be shown? Just "Total Commander" as in some other dialogs?

Well, I don't know... maybe 621="Error packing files!" would be a good choice here?

I noticed that it is an exception that the listbox shows the contents of a zip file as a search result. Only when all searched files are in the same ZIP file. When there are more occurrences, these files or the zip file in which they are located are shown.

Let me return to the subject of Search result: string, which could be seen near the drive selection drop-down and as a tab title.
When no text is expected after the string, it might look better without colon in these two cases; and would not require new string or translation.
Or maybe use brackets as if it was a drive label:
[Search result]

Well, the ":" makes it clear that it isn't a directory with that name, because directories cannot contain ":" in their name. The square brackets can actually be used in directory names.

In the new920.txt file to the translators you write:

"...You may modify 5043 a bit if it doesn't, but please do not remove the hotkey!"

Why do you want to keep a hotkey that can not be used?

It CAN be used, have you tried it? This is a special case, so users can continue to use the old hotkey.

Ahh - I see now that it does the same as 1 - I had expected the hotkey to focus the button with (1) on it.
