high cpu usage

Post by *Evds »

After some time tcmd starts using 100% cpu.
..I have no clue what triggers it...it seems to be doing a lot of closefile operations.. (auto refresh when the file system changes ?).

If I click on the cross to close the application the gui disappears but the process
stays active in the background and keeps on using 100% cpu (one thread stays active).

Could you try disabling auto-refresh?
Configuration - Options - Refresh - lower half.

With auto-refresh disabled I haven't had the problem yet.

When accessing a nas with auto-refresh enabled (tcmd 9.2 rc2) I notice a very high cpu usage of the process smbd-notifyd on the nas.

I didn't had that with a previous version of tcmd.
