Ouick view with plugin - focus lost.

Post by *Gral »

1. Put cursor on file on left panel - lister plugin for this type of file must be installed - best visible with "Imagine"
2. press CTRL+Q - turn on "Quick View"
3. press ALT+TAB to switch to another application e.g. another instance of TC (or use Windows taskbar)
4. press ALT+TAB to switch back to TC with QUick View enabled.
Panel title bar indicates that file panel is active while cursor on file changed to inactive one and "space" switch to next file (if lister plugin support this hotkey) although cursor on file don't change position.

Now repeat procedure with file panel on right and Quick View on left - no bug!

This same of course for top (=left) and bottom (=right)

TC 9.20 and 9.21 RC1 x32 & x64 versions
Windows 10 x64 Home (17134.165)

EDIT
To moderators - this should be posted in "TC9.2x bug reports (English)" forum of course - I don't know how this happened

NOT confirmed. I tried with my own settings, and with a fresh INI. Maybe I'm doing something wrong?
  1. Launch TC with fresh INI: c:\totalcmd\totalcmd.exe /i=c:\totalcmd\test.ini
  2. Add imagine plugin via Configuration - Options - Plugins - Lister plugins - Configure - Add (I already had it on the harddisk, use auto-install otherwise)
  3. In the left panel, go to a directory with images
  4. Press Ctrl+Q on a jpg image
  5. Verify that imagine is used by looking at the image status bar, it contains images of a magnifying glass and a mouse
  6. Press Alt+Tab to switch to some other program
  7. Press Alt+Tab again to switch back to TC
Result (here): The left panel title shows that it's active, and the cursor is in the left panel. Moving the cursor up/down works fine too.

Tested on Windows 10 x64 build 17134 (Spring 2018) and 16299 (Fall 2017).

It took a while to figure out - It occurs when [colors]ActiveTitle is set - try with ActiveTitle=12632256 and you should see the bug.
