Redefined left/right and Commandbar

The behaviour described in the bug report is either by design, or would be far too complex/time-consuming to be changed

Redefined left/right and Commandbar

Post by *DoD »

Hi,

I have redefined the left and right keys for quicker navigation in folders.

left - cm_GoToParent
right - cm_GoToDir

I prefer this over the default enter/backspace-navigation and it works just fine. I found this feature years ago in midnight commander on linux and really loved it because it made movement significantly faster for me.

The only problem is the commandbar. After redefining I can't use the left/right keys in commandbar, because instead of moving the cursor it still navigates in the mainwindow. Is there any way to prevent this? This behaviour is the same in previous versions, btw.

Thanks,
DoD

This has been requested several times:

ghisler isn't interested in changing that. You have to use AHK.

Mal angenommen, du drückst Strg+F, wählst die FTP-Verbindung (mit gespeichertem Passwort), klickst aber nicht auf Verbinden, sondern fällst tot um.
