I must correct myself:
There is an automatic that automatically checks the option "Search archives (all except for UC2)" - (had such a case this evening).

My statement above "This is done in almost all cases" came about because since this option was probably
switched on manually at some point beforehand and the subsequent tests were successful.

Unfortunately, it is currently the case that this automatic is very rarely executed.
So far, despite many tests, I have not been able to find out why this option is not always activated automatically.

I don't think that enabling search in archives is such a good idea, because it is quite slow.

I think that's why you invented the yellow exclamation mark icon?
When the last search had the "Search archives" option enabled, on the next search this option is also automatically enabled again...
But it was just a suggestion.
