Quick Search looses Focus

Post by *halfmann »

TC 7.50 beta 3

Do a Quick search by pressing Alt+Letter, TC marks the first match. Then browse through the list of matches by pressing Up and Down. All works as expected.

Press Esc and you'll see it: TC hasn't the focus anymore, you have to activate the window again.

I can not confirm. I tried with quick search filter on and off.

I can, definitely...

Only the Quick-Search-Options Ctrl+Alt+Letter and Alt+Letter behave like described. Searching with Letter only with or without search dialog is not affected.

Enter opens the file currently marked, the new shortcut Ctrl+S shows only the matching files, but Esc while still searching is the problem.

TC 7.04a does have the input focus after searching.

Maybe some background program stealing the focus from TC? Some users had similar problems with filebox extender.
