Directory shortcuts doesn't work for NFS mapped drives

Post by *phuizess »

Hi,
I used to use SMB, now I have switched to NFS using Microsoft's "Services for NFS" in Windows 7. I have mapped a NFS share as a drive letter.

After the switch, the directory shortcuts doesn't work anymore(double clicking the path bar). If I switch back to SMB it will work again.

I haven't tried NFS on Windows 7 yet, so I can just guess: Maybe the path names changed?

Maybe this is a clue:

I looks to be SMB in the top case but it was actually NFS, issuing the mount command in a dos shell confirmed that.

2mackey,

Just to eliminate a possible reason:
Do you run TC "as Administrator"?

Any mounted network drive mounted as "normal user" is not available as "elevated user".
You are forced to mount the drive a second time "as Administrator".

Regards
