Minor UI Bug

Post by *kloktor »

When I press left mouse button on drive button (for example d), while another drive (C) is selected, and without releasing the first one click right mouse button, both butons stay selected. It is possible to select all drive buttons by this. Steps in short: left press, right click, left release.
Configuration: Show drive buttons, Show two drive button bars (...), Flat icons, Show drive combobox, Show folder tabs - all checked.
Total Commander 7.56a, Win7 Professional 32bit.

Greetings.

Sorry, I don't get it - when I press the right mouse button, I get the drive context menu. When I close that menu, the button is unselected.

left-click a drive button but don't release the mouse button. Then move the mouse over another drive button and right-click that button with left mouse button still down. Now, release both mouse buttons and move the mouse back over the drive button you left-clicked and it will appear in pressed state although it is not selected.

It is correct if you click on drive button again. But, if you click anywhere else button stays selected. As I said, press left mouse button on drive button which is not selected, then right click and then release left mouse button. Click anywhere in TC except on selected drive button and both stays on.

I apologize for the bad English. I do not know how better to explain.

I click drive button using left button and while left buttin is held I click right button w/o moving mouse at all. Menu appears and button stays in pushed state. Then it doesn't matter how I close menu (using one of its items or using click out there or using Escape) drive button keeps its pushed state.

CoolWater, I may confirm your way too, it looks even more strange when button gets pushed on just moving mouse over it w/o pressing any buttons.

Hmm, it's so improbable that someone does this that it will probably not happen to anyone except when explicitly looking for errors.
