Duplicate file search error

Two files was sign as similar, but actually they are different.
When they are compared both, they are different.

I cannot confirm.

I have downloaded your files and put them in a folder contains many duplicated files then do search, your files were not listed.

Moreover, i have created paths like yours, and again they are not listed in the search result.

I downloaded your two test files, and put them in folders with the same names as on http://img853.imageshack.us/img853/1610/dangermistake.jpg - I then did a search with the settings shown at http://img715.imageshack.us/img715/2622/searchoptions.jpg

The two file does NOT come up in the search result here. Only if I disable the option "same contents" do they come up in the search.

So I can not confirm the bug.

Well, this is VERY strange. I cached this error sometimes with different files and on different machines. But this error exists! You can see it on my picture!
Thats mean I can not trust always my favourite TC.

OK, but then ALL files will be different and all files will be listed as equal! But in this case only two my files was so strange.
who knows may be next some could be so strange. when I found these two files, I stopped delete similar files.

I collect wallpaper files and in this collection are huge count of files

Sounds like a reason, with that enormous number of files.

Is this a known problem with too many files? If I a have a tab with like 150k files, I can not scroll to the bottom with the slider.

Well, I think better is always set by default same size and same contents, not same name and same size, because same name will be found in this case also

key movement does work.

i have a feeling that ghisler will say that this is a limitation of his framework?

Hello, and welcome!

Your problem is not related to rajah's problem.

According to your video, i faced such problem before and it was caused by a translation program called Lengoes, if you are using Lingoes, disable the option "Translate Selected Text"

Well, it must be another one, so please terminate a background program then return to TC to see if the problem gone, if it still exist, repeat steps until you find the suspicious program.

Are you using Windows 7, Aero enabled?

Yes, it's an Aero bug - its scrollbar cannot handle more than 65536 items in a listbox correctly.
