[Sug] Development the OBEX plugin

Post by *DeathStalker »

Do you plan to create OBEX plugin for phone to phone transfers by Bluetooth (for example ES explorer has this functionality)?

Works for me (Nokia E61, Symbian 9.1), NOT Android. Attention, there are two peculiarities:
1) Big files (tens of Mb) are copied very-very slowly;
2) Files copied to the phone get wrong date (01.01.2048).

I am interested the transfer between two phones.

Меня интересует плагин для версии TC под Android, который бы позволял заходить с одного телефона на другой телефон подобно ftp, такая функция есть в другом файловом менеджере для ОС Android - ES explorer.

Total Commander already supports OBEX PUSH to send files to other phones: Just select the files, press the Copy button, then "Send via Bluetooth".

Browsing phones remotely via OBEX isn't currently planned because most phones do not allow it, for security reasons. It's much more secure to send the files from the phone than to give others (and possibly thieves) access to all your files remotely.
