[ERROR] mimetype mkv is not handled

Post by *JensK »

Short error description (RC1)

Having video files *.mkv on my SD card - they won't be played by an installed video player (neither default nor e.g. Diceplayer).

"Kann Datei/Ordner nicht öffnen" (sorry german locallization)

*.avi works fine so no path issue.

(Android 2.3.3 Samsung GT-I9100)

You can add internal associations in config menu.

Thanks for the answer. I did not know that.

So might be better a suggestion to Christian to read out existing associations (don't know if this is possible.

TC doesn't read anything, it just tells the system to launch the file. Apparently there is no system association for that type.
