RFE: Orphaned shortcuts need an error or toast

I tried clicking a home screen/desktop shortcut to a file I'd just deleted. The shortcut icon "highlights" with the click, but nothing else indicated the missing file (nothing that I've noticed so far). The beginning user might complain "the shortcut doesn't work" or

I would suggest a "toast" (Android pop-up warning for those who don't know the term) that "The file you trying to open has either been moved or deleted."
