Maybe it's android problem that usb-transfer.
Try android settings --- storage --- unmount sd-card --- mount sd-card ,that will reflash the new files arrived to sd-card.
This did the trick! Notably doing
1. Power off
2. Remove as card to be used in SD card reader
3. Insert SD card
4. Power on
did not have that effect.

Code: Select all

Device and Install Info
----------------------------------------
Brand: Motorola
Model: XT1562
Product: Moto X Play
Display: lineage_lux-userdebug 7.1.2
Display Width: 1080
Display Height: 1776
Display Density: 3.0
Android version: 7.1.2
So... I do not consider this a fix. Merely a workaround. A user shouldn't be required to do sd card unmount/mount after file operations. What is your take on it?

As a side note, I think I'll return to exFAT with 64 KB allocation size now :)

You maybe do this unmount/mount all in the android phone.
And this is a MTP bug Google no longer take love to it since larger and larger internal storage phones without sdcard slot.
So,unmount/mount is the best way consider to other solutions you may found on the internet,I think, compare to easy operation, battery saving...

If there's a commander like "remount /mnt/..." ,it's better to add it in TC's "add buttons" for more effective.

I doubt this is a TotalCommander problem.

I have had to deal with this issue ever since I switched to Android (from BB.) That and the file date issue (only tracks last write date and not original date) which also bugs me.

I have found that sometimes the file copy works and sometimes it transfers the file as a 0 file length. I always thought it was an issue with MTP.

I believe someone else commented on unmounting and remounting the drive, but that has not worked for me.
