Is there a way to select a range of files in TC for Android?

I've moved a large folder with WhatsApp images from internal card to external one and want to move some of them back, so I need a way to select some thousands of files, and it is too crazy do select it one by one.

It would be nice to mark the first one, scroll to the end of list and mark the last one, and get the range selected for moving.

I've tried to search for these files (not older than required period) but it is impossible because of stupid Android timestamp problem: all files now have the same timestamp. So only their names keep correct timestamps now.

Select range with long tap on file icon

viewtopic.php?t=42798&highlight=select+range
ghisler(Author) wrote:To select multiple files:
1. Long tap on the first ICON
2. Choose whether you want to select or remove selction
3. Tap on the last icon in the range

Selecting by dragging is unfortunately not possible because:
1. On file names, dragging is used for scrolling
2. In icons, dragging is used for drag&drop

That?

Can't do this with files, only with directories: long tap on file icon just select it, in a regular way, without prompting to select a range. With directories it prompts and selects range like it should.

Had TC 2.91 and Android 9 AOSP.
