Files are not copied from internal memory to external SD card

Post by *Sektor »

TC: 3.0b9
Android: 8.0
Files are not copied from internal memory to SD card, although the file name does appear in the the folder, but its size is zero. I tried to copy with built-in file manager - and it was OK.

This is a known bug of some Android versions: The sizes are shown wrong in the real folder /storage/1234-5678 until you restart the device.

The built-in file manager uses virtual folders. You can do this in Total Commander too: Long click on the SD card in the home folder and choose "Hide". This will hide the directory /storage/1234-5678 and show the virtual folder ///_SD-Card instead. Here the sizes should appear correctly.
