TC Root | Unable to either modify or replace files

G'morning, I'm trying to modify mixer_paths_mtp.xml to increase the volume, but I can't get TC to make the change, I actually never got TC to do the job, always had to use another file manager with root capabilities, rooted through Magisk and TC has root everywhere available, I've changed the file permissions but whenever I try to replace or modify the file I always get "Error writing to file:..."

Any advice?

Edit: Managed to replace a copy of the file with no issues, but is it possible to edit and save the file from within root directory? Getting the "Error writing file..." error when saving changes.

I'm already on the beta testing program. Is there any log I can provide?

The location of the file is /vendor/etc/mixer_paths_mtp.xml not sure if relevant or not.

Please describe the steps you use to edit the file.
The following should work:
1. Long tap on the file to open the context menu
2. Choose "Edit file"
3. Modify and then save the file

Usually I would just tap on the file and it would open with TC's editor, but I get the same error when doing it through the context menu.

Please try with beta 16, which I released today. It should fix the issue. If not, it should now show a more detailed error message.

It's working great now, thank you.
