TC 8.01x32-Minor visual bug

Post by *wanderer »

Windows 7 (x64 but i don't think it matters). Using TC801x32.

Rightclick a button in the buttonbar and "change" it. Click on the magnifying glass next to the "command" field in order to open the "choose command" window. Select "usercmd.ini" from the category. Several buttons appear over the OK/Cancel ones. The last one ("Rename/Copy") extends outside the "choose command" window.

This happens only in the x32 version. The x64 seems to be just fine. Also tested under WinXP using the x32 version and the problem does not exist. It seems it only happens using the x32 version under Win7 (i don't know about vista or other OSs).

Normally using latest TC on:
x32: WinXPx32 SP3
x64: Clients/Servers from Win7 to Win11 and Win2K12Srv to Win2K22Srv, mainly Win10 though.

I can confirm this with a Windows Luna theme under Win7, and only for the 32-bit version.

Work-around: Just make the dialog window wider (TC remembers the size).

Yes, you need to make the window a bit larger.

Well, of course... :) Nevertheless, it still is a minor visual bug. The button is visible and seems to work properly, it's just ugly because it gets a little bit outside of the screen.

Under WinXP, when the window width is set at the minimum possible size, the button is right-alligned with the listbox above it. In Win7, the window width is allowed to be a little smaller than it should. IMO, you should probably set the minimum window width to be a few pixels larger under Win7. All tests have been performed using the default Win7 theme.
