Total Commander x64 didn't save tabs rename

Post by *danghm »

I'm using Total Commander v8.01 64 bit (2012-08-03) on windows 7.

I lock a tab with path D:\Music to the right tabbar.

When I rename it to MUSIC, it works well. But when I exit TC, it didn't save new name to wincmd.ini

I tried edit wincmd.ini manually (add new line 3_caption=NEW NAME) but after the Total Commander run once, it delete that line.

The other name didn't had that issue.

The user-defined name isn't saved if it's the same as the directory name (case is ignored). Maybe just rename the folder from Music to MUSIC? Windows is case-insensitive.

Wouldn't it be great if TC would do automatically what danghm did manually? Just perform two rename operations in this case. First use a temporary name and then the real new name.
