Paint/Redraw Problem with Total Commander 8.01

Post by *Shark321 »

Paint/Redraw Problem with Total Commander 8.01 on Win7 x64.

Happens with both x32 and x64 version of TC.

The problem is only present if the window is maximized.

Thanks for your report.

Could you please write step by step instructions what you do to get this output? It looks like TC was partially covered by some other program, and not redrawn correctly.

I don't think it's a covering problem, as it happens with only Windows Commander running too. All you have to do is to maximize the TC window. If I resize it to the same size (without maximizing) the problem does not happen. Other programs don't have this problem.

The problem was not always there, and downgrading to 7.x does not solve it, so I guess it's some incompatibility with some other software or device driver I have running.

Sounds more like a problem with a display driver. Did you update it recently (before the problems started)?
