Win8/64 · TC 8.01/32 & /64 · folder tree symbols @ 120dp

Post by *JohnFredC »

This problem may have been posted about previously, but searching the forum with several different strings didn't uncover a matching topic.

On my new Win8 64 machine with fonts set to 120dpi, and in both TC32 and TC64, the folder tree node symbols look like the following graphic:

Functionality is fine, appearance not so much.

Shouldn't these symbols resize smoothly? They look fine on my XP SP3 desktop with fonts set to the same 120dpi and I notice that the symbols in other folder trees (of other apps) also appear correctly at 120dpi￾.

Yes, it's a known problem. The next version will have better support for high DPI. I have a tablet with 11.6" full HD now (similar to Microsoft Surface) and there are other problems with high DPI which I will fix.
