Cannot press CTRL-\ to move to root directory

Post by *mikeyww »

After using TC for a while, I cannot press CTRL-\ to move to the root directory. If I then exit (close) TC and restart it, CTRL-\ works.

mikeyww,
You might have changed your keyboard layout (accidentally)?

Mal angenommen, du drückst Strg+F, wählst die FTP-Verbindung (mit gespeichertem Passwort), klickst aber nicht auf Verbinden, sondern fällst tot um.

Hmm, I don't think so. How would this occur?

mikeyww,
Mostly by pressing Alt-Shift-Enter to calculate directory sizes. Alt-Shift changes the keyboard layout.

That does not seem to be the cause.

Try this: Add the line
KeyboardID=1

to your wincmd.ini section [Configuration]. This way the keyboard will always be reverted to the default when TC gets the focus.
