Option "Skip all which cannot be opened for reading&quo

Post by *QsaMixeK » 2014-02-05, 07:14 UTC

I'm trying to copy a huge amount of files from a bad hard drive. The drive contains many corrupted files and I want to copy at least those which are still OK.

But the problem is that even though I select the option "Skip all which cannot be opened for reading" right before copying, it still asks me wheter to skip an unreadable file or to cancel the whole process.

Surely I don't need to explain how annoying it is when you have to sit hours in front of TC and clicking a [Skip] button.

It would be also very nice to have a [Skip all] button in that error prompt window.

This is treated as a fatal error, so it cannot be skipped. Try using the badcopy plugin. It only works with the 32-bit version, though, so you will need to install the combined 32+64bit versions if you use the 64-bit version:
