Copying as admin fails if asking for long filenames

Post by *PJohn »

i wanted to copy files which needed administrator rights on win10. i used the option "all as administrator".

During the copy process the dialog for long filenames and if i want to keep them appeared. after clicking "yes for all" the copy process didn't use admin rights anymore and every file after had the dialog for not having enough rights.

should be easily reproducible with long enough filenames and needing admin rights to copy the files.

edit: sorry just saw there is a new version. this was under 8.51a. haven't tried with newest version.

thanks,
PJohn

Same problem persists in 8.52a. Filenames longer than 260 characters that prompt the dialog to keep or change the name will result in every file afterwards not being copied with admin rights and prompting an "access denied on file" dialog.
